  • Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition is one of the most awaited mobile games this year, coming on November 28th, which is just days away from now. To celebrate the upcoming release we get a trailer showing some gameplay and for starters the title will debut on the PC, Mac and iPad. I certainly hope we’ll see it on Android, otherwise, I’d be very bummed out about it.

If you played Baldur’s Gate and you’re a fan of the original, you’ll certainly love this. The graphics are pretty much the same as they were in 1998, albeit there are a few tweaks to the Infinity Engine, that includes a reworked inventory screen and a sharper user interface, among others. Sharper visuals are also expected, plus higher resolutions, that are not available in the OG title. New content includes brand new party members and new areas to explore, so fans will great a treat.

A version of the game for Android will come at a later date, that has yet to be announced. We should mention that the gameplay trailer below is actually from the PC version, but considering the engine behind it isn’t very demanding, the Baldur’s Gate 2012 release will look the same on mobile devices, too.
