  • Every Baldur’s Gate fan out there has been counting the days till the Enhanced Edition for Android is coming out and now it’s getting closer, after some setbacks. Overhaul Games are going to make a hardcore jam session starting next week to get everything fixed and functional.

The Android version has been delayed because of a bug regarding the panel APK files. Depending on the jam session from next week, Baldur’s Gate fate will be decided and whether or not it will hit the Google Play Store in winter time or spring time. For those of you who don’t know, Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition is a remake of the famous RPG Baldur’s Gate and its expansion Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast. The game was actually launched on iOS on December 7th 2012 and for the PC in November, so the delay is annoying.

Downloadable content has been promised and the ability to mod the game. Overhaul Games have promised a total of 400 improvements from the original game. The title is set in the Forgotten Realms content of Faerun and while the plot of the game stays the same, game developers added more sidequests here. The game also includes 3 new characters.
