  • One of the latest products from Asus has just passed FFC and it’s coming to offer Google TV functionality. It is rather an USB dongle that plugged into a device via USB offers Google TV. On the Play Store there are also some Asus developed apps that hint at the device’s functions.

The ASUS Qube has passed FFC and it is expected it will not be long before it will be officially announced. Engadget has discovered that some of Asus’s apps available on the Store have been designed to include and hint functions towards the new device. Listings have been discovered for O!Mobile Control Center and O!Mobile Remote mobile app to indicate some of the upcoming device’s functions.

Though Google TV has had more criticism then it’s share of good reviews, it’s manufacturers like Asus that might help push the service on the right path. Google TV provides access to all sorts of popular services, mainly in the U.S., including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and the Google Play Store for a large number of TV Shows and Movies.
