  • After this summer’s Comic Con and E3, it’s time for gamers to have fun at the famous Tokyo Game Show 2012. Mobile was a big part of the event, not only PlayStation and Xbox games. We found out that hot titles such as Assassin’s Creed or Metal Gear will get a mobile version, as well as Resident Evil. As far as Assassin’s Creed goes, its iteration on iOS and Android will be called Utopia.

It will be based on American colonial era and will allow gamers to build their very own 17th century village. They will have the opportunity to see the village grow during the course of 150 years. It’s all based on micromanaging and turn based strategy. All the action takes place in the Assassin’s Creed 3 universe, the full fledged game for consoles and PC, coming soon as well. You can see here two screenshots taken by the guys of G4 TV, who also tried the game.

They saw little houses, a bigger building and assassin towers in the town. Buildings can be moved or deleted and there’s also an upgrade option, that wasn’t accessible in the demo. After collecting more gold, the tester came across a Battle option. The combat is turn based and you must choose a character before entering battle. The fight pits you against foes with spears and axes and using Attack and Guard the fight was over in a few minutes. The demo was in Japanese, so the tester had a hard time with it.

Expect the title to launch this winter!
