  • We’ve heard a lot of talk about that Ouya Android gaming console and now there’s yet another device of this kind. Archos is rumored to be making its own gaming console, as the Ludo G10 mystery device was leaked in benchmarks and seems to be it.

Archos Ludo G10 was spotted in GLBenchmark and we are expecting here a gaming console based on Android 4.0 ICS, according to the leak. Archos is usually known for making cheap Android tablets, so the first thought was that this model is actually a tablet, which it’s not. We’re dealing with a device that’s shown as supporting a 1920 x 1008 pixel resolution, obviously a typo, since the resolution should be 1920 x 1080 pixels. The processor inside is a new TI OMAP 4470 chipset, that hasn’t been released yet.

The CPU will come in Q4 2012, clocked at 1.8 GHz. Another pleasing aspect is the GPU, a PowerVR SGX554, that will give us 3D graphics and kickass videogames. Ludo G10 still remains a mystery, as far as storage, RAM, connectivity and design are concerned, but I’m sure we’ll find out more soon!
