  • We’ve played Angry Birds Space before, but we thought that the latest update, called Pig Dipper deserves its very own review, because it brings a few new elements to the table. Pig Dipper is a free update for Angry Birds Space, that brings 30 new levels, that seems like a combo between Piglantis and the usual Angry Birds Space.

They include aquatic gameplay, as well as the usual Space gameplay, that involves gravity and spinning around an orbit. We tested the game on the Allview P6 Stony handset, in case you’re wondering and found the game to be quite hard. It took us about an hour to complete the game, showing that it’s actually quite tough. We even had to use the powerups and Eagle a time or two. Since we’re playing on a water planet, you’ll see pigs on boats, anchors all over the place, whale sounds in the background and the occasional whale or squid pig.

There are some very nice additions to the gameplay when it comes to physics. For example, an ice bird will freeze a ship and ice will make it heavier, so it will sink, bringing pigs down with it. Also removing an anchor from a boat, makes it float randomly, colliding with obstacles and killing pigs. This way, the gameplay is a tad smarter and more original. We give the game a 9 out of 10 and you can download it from here.
