  • After flying out to deep space, the famous Angry Birds meet the green pigs for an underwater duel in Angry Birds Seasons Piglantis. This release came recently and it’s obviously free. We’ve played it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet, as shown in the video review below. One thing that I noticed immediately was that the game was a bit more difficult than previous releases.

So, you must be up for a challenge this time. The first novelty is the ability of the birds to go through water and then resurface in order to kick some square tiles of sand or TNT. They will keep bouncing on the water for a while after being thrown from the slingshot and so will pieces of wood and other stuff. You have the usual birds in this game: the little red ones, the big fat ones that pack a punch, the yellow ones that go through wood, the black bombs, the white bird with explosive eggs and the inflating orange bird.

Piglantis offer 30 fresh levels, plus 3 extras and I really can’t wait to reach the final boss and see if it’s a squid pig or not, as shown on the cover of the game in Google Play Store. Overall it’s a very good game, it’s finally difficult, after so many light releases and can make for a challenging hour or two of fun. You can download Piglantis from here.
