Angry Birds Seasons Back to School Review: Way Too Easy, Pink Bird is Cute (Video)
If you’re looking for cheap fun, then you should try the new Angry Birds Seasons, Back to School version. As the name says it’s all about going back to school, muddy and cloudy autumn and learning the ABCs. This fresh update from Rovio brings us 20 new levels and we’ve tested the game on a Nexus 7, with the result being the video review below and screenshots after the break.
This title brings forth a new character, a feminine pink bird, with a warrior cry when it launches from the sling. Her weapons is a set of balloons that are fired when you tap the screen. Said balloons lift everything in the air: pigs, pieces of wood, rocks and more. I didn’t find this new character particularly useful, but at least it’s a cute one. The game is not that challenging, since it took me between 30 and 40 minutes to complete it, obviously not with 3 stars in all levels.
The end boss wasn’t that challenging or scary, a mere big pig with a big student cap on his head. Overall, you’ll have fun in this game, particularly because of the mood it sets, with the school bell ringing in the background, cloud overhead and the threat of school coming being felt in the game. We give an 8 out of 10 and you can get it from here.
