  • Just search for the term “launcher” on the Store and you will be presented with an astonishing number of options of all sorts. Sill most users these days are not looking for just another alternative, but a unique way to experiment incremental UI changes for their devices. Androse Launcher offers just that and more.

Androse Launcher by developer VasqProd is offered for both Android smartphones and tablets. The apps unique characteristic refers to offering the Windows 8 type modern interface instead of the regular OS homescreen layout. The implementation seems to work more than adequate and even offers access to the charms bar for settings controls and other features.

The developer has made it so that interaction with the launcher is done in a similar manner to the regular version on devices like the MS Surface. You can hold and drag to rearrange tiles, long press or swipe down on items on all apps menu to select, change Tile – Color, Name, Image, Size and a great number of other such interaction methods. On top of that the animations seem very authentic and smooth, giving a complete feel. You can download the launcher for free, either for smartphones or tablets from the Store.
