  • Android 4.3 has pulled a major leak on the Galaxy S4, reaching the handset some way or another and now it hits the Nexus 4 via a leak. The new release of Android could debut officially next week, when Google will host a fresh event.

Everyone is talking about the Nexus 7 2 being introduced on July 24th, but you should also expect the debut of Android 4.3 as well. A working TWRP backup of Android 4.3 recently appeared on XDA Developers via Google+ user Jeff Williams, who bought a Nexus 4 that ran the new Jelly Bean. Folks with skills have extracted the system dump from Jeff’s phone and confirmed it’s the real deal (JWR66N).

Paul O’Brien, the MoDaco guru is testing the TWRP backup right now and I guess we’ll see a fresh ROM for all of our phones and tablets in no time. In the meantime expect the Android 4.3 announcement in about 6 days. I’m curious how long it will take Google to roll it out…
