Android 4.2 Photo Sphere Feature is Basically a Way to Make 360 Degree Panoramas; Download it Here! (Video)

  • Android 4.2 brought not only a cool Quick Settings area that can be accessed with a two finger swipe, but also an improved Google Now and some other functions, like the Photo Sphere in the camera area. The feature was only demoed on the LG Nexus 4, the only Android 4.2 handset right now, but apparently you can get it too.

    The unofficial APK for Android 4.2 Photo Sphere is available right here, only hours after the cool Android 4.2 keyboard leaked as well. Back to detailing Photo Sphere, this function allows you to stitch together pictures of your surrounding area till you create a 360 degree panorama. You probably know those cool detailed images that you get from inside a stadium before the soccer match, right? Well, now you can create them with your Android phone.

    Similar 360 degree images were available in Bing Travel and usually on travel sites, so you see what you’re visiting. Actually, this is basically the purpose of Photo Sphere: you travel and you want to show the folks at home a cool view of your surroundings. Details in the video below:
