Android 4.2 Feature – Quick Settings – Implemented in the Form of an App
Android 4.2 announced exactly one week ago, has gotten every Android user excited about all the new features it brings. Of course, everyone would like to give features like the lock screen widgets, multiple user accounts, photo sphere – panoramic images in all directions, or quick settings a shot. The last can now be installed on your device due to a resourceful developer.
Control panel for Android – is the name of the app that brings Android 4.2 like quick setting menu for every Android device 2.2 and up. Compared to that of the latest version of the OS, the implementation is rather raw. Though the UI could use some work to resemble what Google though the panel should look like, the app can prove very useful. It also brings a lot more options then what the stock feature on Android 4.2 will bring.
Installing the app will allow you to change various device setting through a panel. On top of the usual switches for WiFi, bluetooth, GPS and such, the app also provides sliders for volumes and brightness. It does not require root and can be installed on just about any device without a problem.
Control panel for Android can be downloaded for free from the Play Store.
