  • Android 4.2 has bare been announced on Monday and already some of the new features it brought have been ported to work on other devices. The new improved Panorama mode that has been introduced with the new version of the OS may be one of the coolest features. It takes on the system that has been used for Street View and allows you to take photos in all directions.

The Photo Sphere feature has been ported to work on the Galaxy Nexus. If you want to install the Gallery app from Android 4.2 it will require that your device is rooted. Download the .zip by going to the source link on XDA Developers and flash it in CWM Recovery. Mind You, the version may not be final so expect some bugs. The update for the old Nexus devices is expected to arrive November 13th.
