  • Shortly after Google announced the new version of Android – Jelly Bean, Samsung rushed towards promising that it will update some of its mid to high-end devices. Among these is one of their most popular devices of all time – the Galaxy Note Android phablet. Android 4.1.1 would bring many improvements, especially in terms of speed and the new voice-activated search engine and personal information provider – Google Now.

Galaxy Note owners have all the reasons to be anxious about the upcoming update for their devices. The new version of the OS is the best yet and it truly reveals the potential of the OS. Samsung device owners surely have heard of sammobile, the no. 1 source for Samsung rumors and firmwares. If you have an account with them then you are able to enjoy the latest leak for the Galaxy Note.

A pre-release firmware for the Galaxy Note will update the device to Android 4.1.1. Firmware build number N7000XXLS3 will also bring some new Samsung specific features, like Multi-View, the latest version of TouchWiz – also found on the Galaxy S III and Note II and Air-View (preview content without touching the display with the S-Pen). There is apparently also an update to Android 4.1.2 in the making that one lucky user in France grabbed and shot a video of it. Watch it below:
