AMP+ Gets Updated With New Playback Features Gesture and Scrobbling support
Among the music players that you will find on the Store most are packed with features and sometimes forget that all the users wants to do is to listen to some music, without having to go through complicated menus and options. Apps like AMP are a welcome addition to the bunch.
AMP is developed by SimpleCity and it has become one of the popular solutions available on the Store for music listening. One of its main highlights is that it provides a very clean holo interface, that in many ways is better then Google has worked out for Play Music. AMP is available in bot a free and “+” version. The last provides many extra features, though some users may prefer the simplicity of the free version. Finally the app has benefited from its first update that adds a bunch of extra features.
The new version of AMP+ includes support for themes and an integrated search engine. While all the versions provided great looking widgets, this version will allow to set transparency for each of the two sized 2 x1 and 4 x1. Lets hope more will be added soon. Version 1.2.5 includes equalizer fixes and scrobbling via Last.FM provided that the scrobbler is installed. Another great addition is the integration of gestures to change the song with a flick to left or right. There is also an info screen as with the popular apps of its kind and various bug fixes.
