  • Agent Alice takes a good thing, the hidden object game concept and turns it into a bad thing, by adding a ton of IAPs. The game is available for free and we’ve played it on the Huawei Honor 6 handset. It feels a lot like a Big Fish title, but with less substance.

As usual, you’re investigating a murder and you have to find the objects that are mentioned at the top of the screen in the scenery below. You tap to find them and you can also use clues. Depending on how fast you move, you’ll get points, which in turn generate stars, that you’ll spend on reaching the next step of the mission. There’s an energy system, as if the stars weren’t enough.

This is a Scooby Doo style mystery, with villains to fit the bill, including some sort of creature that kills people with vines. You will arrange pieces of puzzles, inspect objects and usually find hidden stuff. The game isn’t very hard, but it’s very repetitive, sadly. There are too many achievement and congratulatory screens, which fragment the game.

New episodes were promised to arrive every week and the only thing we like here is the 60s vibe. We give this game a 7 out of 10 and you can download it here.
